About The spas

Spas for Paws has created a patented self-serve dog wash. The spas are attendant-free in order to provide pet owners with the most convenient, economical, and environmentally-friendly way to wash their pets. Whether it's a quick rinse before jumping in the car after a day at the park or a complete shampoo and air dry, our spas have what you need.

How it Works

Each spa is a kiosk-type building with a concrete and tile tub. First, you will enter the enclosure along with your dog, closing the door behind you. This feature allows you to have both hands free, keeping your dog safe and secure. The kiosk is run by inserting a credit card, so you only pay for the amount you use. Each user can sanitize the tub, rinse their pet, or use one of three organic shampoos. The shampoos and water are dispensed through the same nozzle, so it is easy to change gears back to rinsing. The water is temperature controlled for year-round comfort. To dry off, you can use the ambient-temperature blow dryer supplied or your own towel.

We at Spas for Paws are currently installing our first official on-site spa! It is located at the dog park in Huntington Beach, California and is slated to open Spring 2021. Environmentally friendly

Each spa utilizes a patented reclaimed water system. This enables it to be water efficient in all environments, from the beach to the desert to the mountains.

Thoughtful Design

Each spa comes with everything you need to clean your pet: temperature-controlled water, multiple organic shampoos, ambient temperature blow dryer, and a safe enclosure.

cost Efficient

Each spa is turned on and off using a credit card. Since you only pay for the time you use, you can have a quick rinse or a long scrub without worrying about overpaying. The spa will shut off if too much time has elapsed to protect you from getting charged or forgetting your card.

convenient

Each spa is located where you already go, which means no more special trips to a groomer for an expensive bath. Simply give your pet a bath after a day at the beach or park and your car and pet will both come home clean.

Community benefits

A portion of the proceeds is donated to the city's parks program for dog parks. Additionally, our spas are completely maintained by Spas for Paws, so there is no need for municipalities to dedicate manpower or training to our spas.

Fundraising opportunities

We also support local charities by sponsoring donation-only dog washing days where the donated proceeds benefit local dog groups, animal shelters, and other important non-profit organizations.
